SensDIGITAL is proud to bring the first full-fledged and intensive iPhone SDK training course to Paris, from March 30th to April 3rd 2009.
Two training levels:
- Complete 5-days training: students must have strong notions of object oriented programming, but do not need actual Mac OS X or iPhone experience. By the end of day 2, students will have acquired basic notions allowing them to start developing their own non-complex iPhone applications. By the end of day 5, students will have acquired in-depth notions of all advanced features of the iPhone: geolocalization, 2D & 3D graphics, sound, database, networking…
- Advanced 3-days training: advanced students can skip the first two days, however, they are expected to have prior experience building basic iPhone applications using XCode.
- Special request: please contact us if you would like us to consider a different format or permutation. We may be able to accomodate special requests.

Requirements:
The course will be taught in English. Written material will also be in English. Students are expected to be fairly fluent reading & understanding English. French/Italian/Spanish assistance will be available from time to time to clarify issues. In any case, the course will be very applied and each student will receive special attention.

- Tuesday: Core Location. View controllers. Table views.
Start of the advanced 3-day program:
- Wednesday: Webkit. Multi-touch event and event manager. Managing Screen orientations. User alerts. Proximity sensor. Camera image picker. Accelerometer. Low memory warnings. Core Animation.
- Thursday: View Transitions. Core Graphics. OpenGL ES. Core Audio.
- Friday: Sqlite integration. Web services. Address book. Preferences. Networking & Bonjour.
About the instructor:
Dr. Geppy Parziale (INVASIVE CODE) is an electronic engineer specialized in computer vision and digital image processing. He has more than 15 years of experience in Mac programming including 8 years of Cocoa/Objective-C. In the past, he has developed fingerprint and face recognition algorithms as well as solutions for some leading companies in the biometric market.
Geppy is a Mac OS X specialist very fluent in Objective-C and Cocoa. His specialities are Core Image, Core Animation, Core Graphics, Image Kit, XCode, Interface Builder, Instruments and Multi-threading programming. He currently develops on the iPhone platform and masters the iPhone SDK and UIKit. He also teaches iPhone development classes worldwide and provides consulting for many high-tech companies.
Geppy delivers his courses in English, Italian or Spanish depending on the audience (contextual help in French will be available in the Paris sessions).
